What the role owns

  • Act as medical monitor and clinical lead for the Phase 2 dose-ranging study
  • Write and refine protocols, investigator brochures and clinical study reports
  • Review safety data with drug safety, including gastrointestinal tolerability and cardiovascular signals
  • Contribute to dose selection and Phase 3 design with biostatistics and regulatory
  • Build relationships with endocrinology and obesity medicine investigators
  • Support FDA meeting preparation and briefing documents

What great candidates bring

  • MD or DO, with training in endocrinology, cardiology or internal medicine
  • 4+ years in industry clinical development, including medical monitoring
  • Experience with Phase 2 or Phase 3 studies in metabolic or cardiovascular disease
  • Sound clinical judgment on safety signals and benefit-risk
  • Familiarity with FDA guidance on developing drugs for weight reduction
  • Clear writing and a steady presence with investigators
